What is a transducer?
Electrical and electronic devices that convert one type of energy into another type of energy are called transducers . Electrical transducers measure electrical quantities like voltage or current by converting physical quantities into proportional electrical ones. Any quantity to be measured will be converted into a usable electrical signal.
You can measure physical quantities such as pressure, level, temperature, displacement, etc. It is the electrical output that determines the measured quantity from the transducer.
